Public lectures
Five public lectures will be given on the occasion of the exhibition " Le papyrus dans tous ses États, de Cléopâtre à Clovis ", to be held at the Collège de France from September 18 to October 26, 2021:
- Tuesday, September 21, 5-6 p.m.: Jean-Luc Fournet (Collège de France), "Les papyrus, une fenêtre ouverte sur l'Antiquité".
- Tuesday, September 28, 5pm-6pm: Valérie Schram (CNRS), "On the Nile rises a forest without branches..." From green marshes to white leaves: papyrus in all its states".
- Tuesday, October 5, 5pm-6pm: Daniel Delattre (CNRS), "Discovering the Villa of the Pisons and the mysterious charred library of Herculaneum: Herculaneum papyri from Paris".
- Tuesday, October 12, 5pm-6pm: Laurent Morelle (EPHE), "Une royauté par éclats et lambeaux : les papyrus mérovingiens des Archives nationales".
- Tuesday, October 26, 5pm-6pm: Julien Auber de Lapierre (Collège de France, BnF), "La collection de papyrus grecs et coptes de la Bibliothèque nationale de France : deux siècles d'histoire".
