Michel Zink, professor emeritus at the Collège de France has been elected to the Académie française in the chair of Mr. René Girard (F37). Voting took place in two rounds on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at the end of which Mr. Zink received 15 votes out of 26.
Michel Zink is a medievalist specializing in the literature of the Middle Ages. He holds the Littératures de la France médiévale Chair (1995-2016) at the Collège de France.
