Friday, January 13, 2012. Colloque du Pr Corvol. Risk prevention in medicine: from a population-based to a personalized approach

This year, Professor Pierre Corvol's seminar will take the form of a colloquium, from 9:00 am to 5:45 pm.
The seminar will address a highly topical issue: the transition from medicine based on epidemiology and large-scale therapeutic trials to medicine targeted on the individual characteristics of each patient. This progress is due to the knowledge acquired in recent years in terms of diagnosis and therapeutics, which enable us to take into account the pathophysiological data of each individual. It will involve demographers, economists, epidemiologists, biologists and doctors. Access is free of charge, with no prior registration required.
