This colloquium follows two others held in 2013 (University of Sheffield) and April 2014 (University of Frankfurt).

It is part of the Idealism & Pragmatism: Convergence or Contestation? project, conceived by Professor Robert Stern (University of Sheffield) with the generous support of the Leverhulme Trust, bringing together the philosophy departments of the universities of Sheffield, Cambridge, Columbia, Frankfurt, Pittsburgh, Sydney, Vanderbilt and the Collège de France.

In addition to these institutions, it mainly involves Professors Robert Brandom (University of Pittsburgh); Christopher Hookway (University of Sheffield); Philip Kitcher (Columbia University); Huw Price (University of Cambridge); Paul Redding (University of Sydney); Robert Stern (University of Sheffield); Robert Talisse (Vanderbilt University); Claudine Tiercelin (Collège de France); Marcus Willaschek (University of Frankfurt).

The final symposium will be held in London from July 23 to 25, 2015.
