This symposium follows on from this year's lectures on fundamental processes in planetary formation. Nineteen international experts have been invited to present recent results on the formation and evolution of the protosolar disk and the accretion of the first objects. Combining information from observations of protoplanetary disks around other stars, numerical simulations and cosmochemical analyses of meteorites, this series of lectures will attempt to build a coherent vision of the early phases of solar system formation, and highlight the major questions still open. The conference is open to all, free of charge, subject to availability (180 places). It will be held in English.
The symposium is in English : Formation of the Protosolar Disk and of Its Planetesimals
