Abstract

Our contribution will focus on the legal framework for autonomous cars, which remains incomplete to date. The aim is to provide an overview of the legal problems that the introduction of these new cars may pose, and of possible solutions. While some difficulties have already attracted the attention of public authorities - questions of criminal law, in particular - others remain to be considered - questions of civil liability, for example : who will bear the financial burden of damage caused by autonomous cars ?
