Abstract

Pijul is a version control system based on simple, intuitive modeling of cooperative work. This modeling makes it possible to adapt to the performance requirements of very large projects, while remaining accessible to as many people as possible, including non-programmers. In this talk, I'll explain the theory behind this system, as well as how to use persistent data structures to create multiple branches and guarantee the atomicity of storage operations.
