Abstract

In this talk, I will present how hybrid quantum circuits have prospects in three research avenues related to quantum information. In particular, I will show that they can be used to build spin quantum or so-called "topological" binary units for quantum computation. I will also show that they can simulate hybrid systems of interacting fermions and bosons. Finally, I'll present their quantum probe dimension, with applications to the detection of axionic particles in the galactic halo, which, if they exist, could be candidates for explaining the dark matter of the universe.
