Abstract
This seminar introduced the ReactiveML language, which integrates the ideas of ReactiveC into the OCaml functional language. ReactiveML is not aimed at real-time applications, but at software applications where the flexibility of functional programming makes it possible to elegantly introduce much more dynamicity and scalability into the synchronous reactive model. This point has been illustrated by numerous examples beyond the reach of conventional synchronous languages.
