Abstract
Hyperbolic systems in dimension 1 of space play a crucial role in various real-life domains such as navigable rivers, irrigation canals, heat exchangers, chemical reactors, gas pipelines, road traffic, chromatography, and many others.
This talk will focus on stabilizing these systems through the use of on-board controls. Emphasis will be placed on the construction of explicit stabilizing feedback laws. In addition, the presentation will address the case where source terms are present, the optimal time for controllability of these systems, optimal-time stabilization and the robustness of the feedback laws constructed.
