The sixth and final lecture focused on the notion of innate immune system errors or slippages in the management of infectious crises. It also took into account the fact that this type of error can also lead to intolerance of commensal microbial flora, as observed during Crohn's disease. This lecture has endeavored to highlight the genetic factor, which seems increasingly essential in the way we manage our interface with the microbial world.
