Iulia Darolti
I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Biodiversity Research Centre at the University of British Columbia. Previously, I completed my PhD in Judith Mank’s group at University College London. Through my research, I aim to address fundamental questions about the evolution and underlying mechanisms of sex differences, using a combination of empirical genomic and population genetic approaches. My work has been focused on studying the processes that shape sex chromosome evolution over time, and the role that transcriptional differences play in the development of phenotypic dimorphism.
