ATER at the Economics of Institutions and Innovation Chair and researcher at the Farhi Innovation Lab

Olimpia Cutinelli-Rendina defended her thesis " Essays on the determinants and effects of corporate lobbying ", under the supervision of Pr Philippe Aghion, at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales in partnership with the Paris School of Economics, in June 2023. She holds a Master's degree in Economic Analysis and Policy from the Paris School of Economics and a Master's degree in Quantitative Economics from the University of Paris-I Panthéon-Sorbonne. She has a doctoral contract with the Collège de France. As part of her PhD, Olimpia Cutinelli-Rendina spent a semester at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.

She specializes in political economy and applied microeconomics. Her research explores the link between the political influence of private interest groups and the declining dynamics of competition in contemporary US markets.

Olimpia Cutinelli-Rendina is an ATER with the Chair in Economics of Institutions and Innovation, and a researcher attached to the Emmanuel Farhi Research Center on the Economics of Innovation at the Collège de France since October 2022.

Olimpia Cutinelli-Rendina is the winner of the Prix de la Fondation Hugot du Collège de France 2023.
