Gilles Veinstein, 2002-2004), then in charge of the Chair's scientific and administrative secretariat (2005-2010), Elisabetta Borromeo has been a research engineer in charge of the team's Ottoman documentary resources since 2010: in collaboration with researchers, she develops and manages a documentary collection on the Ottoman Empire. She also helps prepare manuscripts for publication. For example, she collaborated on the production of the Dictionnaire de l'Empire ottoman, as author and editorial secretary in charge of proofreading articles and compiling the index.
She also manages the Centre d'Études arabes, turque et islamiques at the Collège de France (dir. : N. Vatin).
