A doctoral student in law at the University of Orléans since 2021, Camille Michel is writing a thesis on " The role of non-governmental organizations in the implementation of international law in maritime spaces under national jurisdiction " under the supervision of Pr Nicolas Haupais. She holds a master's degree in international law and international organizations (Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne) and a master's degree in French and international business law (Université d'Orléans, relocated to Krakow). Between 2021 and 2024, Camille Michel benefited from a doctoral contract at the University of Orléans, during which she taught public international law, administrative law, constitutional law andEuropean Unionlaw.During her doctoral contract, she also carried out two consecutive research stays at the University of Seychelles andMcGillUniversity . Her research focuses on general public international law and the international law of the sea. Since September 2024, Camille Michel has been an ATERwith the International Law of InstitutionsChair at theCollège de France, where she is completing her thesis.
