The Bible often speaks, in very concrete terms, of human anger, but even more often of divine anger. While some divine wrath is "explicable", others seem incomprehensible, even arbitrary. How, then, do the discourses of divine repentance fit together in the face of anger? Can an angry god also be a merciful god?
