Death of Jean Delumeau historian and Professor Emeritus at the Collège de France

The Chairman of the Collège de France, the Board of Professors and the entire Collège de France community were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Jean Delumeau, Professor Emeritus and holder of the History of Religious Mentalities Chair (1975-1994).
They pay tribute to a great scholar whose open and generous lectures left their mark on generations of students and brought history to a wide audience.
