Henry Laurens

Henry Laurens is Professor at the Collège de France and holds the Contemporary History of the Arab World Chair. He was previously Senior Lecturer at Sorbonne University Paris-IV and University Professor at Inalco. He is the author of numerous reference works, including Le Passé imposé (Fayard 2022) ; Les Crises d'Orient  I, II (Fayard, 2017, 2019 ) ; La Question de Palestine, tomes  I, II, III, IV et V (Fayard, 1999/2002/2007/2011/2015);  Orientales  I, II, III (CNRS-Éditions, 2004), Paix et Guerre au Moyen-Orient : L'Orient arabe et le monde de 1945 à nos jours (Armand Colin, 2005) and L'Orient arabe, arabisme et islamisme de 1798 à 1945 (Armand Colin, 1993, nouv. ed 2015).

Jean-Paul Chagnollaud

Jean-Paul Chagnollaud is President of iReMMO, Professor Emeritus and former Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Nancy, then at the University of Cergy-Paris. He is director of the journal Confluences Méditerranée and author of some twenty books on the Middle East and international relations, including the most recent : Israël-Palestine, La Défaite du vainqueur (Actes Sud, Sindbad, 2017), Proche-Orient, 7 ans de régression (L'Harmattan, 2019), Moyen-Orient, idées reçues sur une région fracturée (with Pierre Blanc, Le Cavalier Bleu, 2019), and Atlas du Moyen-Orient (Autrement, 2016, 2019).

Dima Alsajdeya

Dima Alsajdeya is a researcher at the Contemporary History of the Arab Worldchairat the Collège de France, a doctoral student at the Centre Thucydide (Université Paris-II Panthéon-Assas) and a lecturer at Sciences Po Paris. Her research focuses on the place of the Israeli-Palestinian question in Egypt's foreign policy. She is particularly interested in the different dimensions of Egypt's involvement in Israeli-Palestinian negotiations and its role as mediator on the issues of reconciliation and " de-escalation " (al-tahdi'a) and on the cross-cutting issue of settling the Palestinian question. With François Ceccaldi and Emilio Dabed, she co-edited "  Pouvoir(s) en Palestine ", Confluences Méditerranée, 2021/2, n° 117.
