Marc Fleurbaey
Marc Fleurbaey is CNRS research director and professor at the Paris School of Economics. Author of Beyond GDP (with Didier Blanchet, OUP 2013), A Theory of Fairness and Social Welfare (with François Maniquet, CUP 2011), and Fairness, Responsibility and Welfare (OUP, 2008). He was the coordinating lead author for the5th IPCCreport , a member of the UN Committee for Development Policy, and moderator of the International Panel for Social Progress. His research focuses on the economics of welfare and equity, with applications to the economics of climate, health and fiscal redistribution.
