Abstract
The subject of the lecture I'd like to present this year at the Collège de France is the economy-society, or rather the traditional eco-demography of a world that has now disappeared, as it " functioned ", so to speak, from the 14th to the 18th century. In more precise terms : from 1300-1320 to 1720-1730. For the sake of research, this world is provisionally situated in the Hexagon, which in this instance is purely formal.
