Doctor of Religious Studies from the University of Lausanne, specializing in the Hebrew Bible and the history of ancient Israel. Her work focuses on the prophetic literature of the Hebrew Bible and the socio-political history of Judea in the Persian and Hellenistic periods. His doctoral thesis was a socio-historical reading of the representations of war in the Book of Zechariah (chapters 9-14) in the context of Judea under the early Hellenistic powers (late 4th to early 2ndcenturies BC). He has worked and taught Hebrew Bible for several years at the universities of Lausanne, Geneva and Strasbourg, and was also a visiting researcher for a year at Tel-Aviv University's Institute of Archaeology.
