On Monday January 27, Frédérique Vidal, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, and the heads of research establishments and organizations signed the multi-year contracts for the 2019-2023 period at the Collège de France.

The Minister stressed the importance of these strategic documents and the role of the Ministry in supporting autonomous institutions.
After underlining the Collège de France's anchorage in the higher education and research landscape, notably through its laboratories in the humanities, social sciences and experimental sciences, the administrator recalled the major thrusts of the Collège de France contract: attractiveness - attracting and retaining the best French and foreign talent, with particular attention to the European dimension; the new stage in the digital transformation of knowledge dissemination; and the development of science-society dialogue.
The Collège de France was doubly interested in this ceremony as an associate member of PSL University, on whose behalf Alain Fuchs signed the site contract.
