The philosophy of knowledge at the Collège de France
Through the lectures given by Jules VUILLEMIN, Jacques BOUVERESSE and Claudine TIERCELIN, the philosophy of knowledge has had a strong presence at the Collège de France for the past fifty years. It has developed along original lines, opening up to German and English philosophies and analytic thought, while also drawing on a certain current of French rationalism.
Born of a partnership between the Collège de France and Cléo (Centre pour l'édition électronique ouverte), and installed on the Openedition / Revues.org portal, the Philosophy of Knowledge at the Collège de France editorial site aims to make this tradition of thought visible and widely accessible. It will be organized into three collections: Language and Knowledge; Metaphysics and Knowledge; Rationality, Truth and Democracy.
