Over the past twenty years, new forms of regulation and organization have revolutionized the world. At the same time, the categories of law, economics and politics used to describe the international order have had to be fundamentally revised. The one-day conference on governance will take stock of this revolution in practices and concepts, by comparing the points of view of three theorists from the three disciplines with those of leaders of international organizations. Originating in economics, the notion of global public goods is debated by jurists, economists, anthropologists and philosophers. Brought back into the field of social sciences, the issue of global public goods is not only at the heart of epistemological and theoretical debates, but also at the heart of contemporary social issues.
