Marc Gurgand
Marc Gurgand is a former student at the École normale supérieure and holds a doctorate in economics from the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS). He is Director of Research at the CNRS, Professor at the Paris School of Economics and Director of the Economics Department at the École normale supérieure-PSL. He is also Scientific Director of J-PAL Europe and coordinates the IDEE research structuring facility. His research focuses on social policy and the economics of education, mainly through randomized social experiments.
