New research on literature

In his time, Paul Valéry's research and lectures at the Collège de France in the Poetics Department represented the most advanced stage in literary studies. What is the current state of literary research ? Eighty years on, to pay tribute to Valéry's work and thought on the occasion of the publication of the Cours de poétique, we thought it appropriate to invite to the Collège de France researchers who illustrate the diversity of current literary work and give an idea of the extraordinary richness and productivity of this disciplinary field.
