Michel Beaudouin-Lafon

Michel Beaudouin-Lafon

Michel Beaudouin-Lafon is Professor of Computer Science at Paris-Saclay University and a senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France. His research focuses on human-computer interaction, in particular the foundations of interaction, new interaction techniques, collaborative uses of computing and interactive systems engineering. He is the recipient of an ERC Advanced Grant and Scientific Director of the Digiscope and CONTINUUM excellence facilities. He has been laboratory director and department head at the University of Paris-Saclay, and founded the Association Francophone de l'Interaction Humain-Machine. He is currently deputy head of the ACM Technology Policy Council.
