Abstract
The talk will describe the difficult process of drug development in academia. In particular it will consist of past, present, and hopefully future clinical candidates from the Jung lab. The bulk of the talk will be a description of a possible new treatment for glioblastoma, which has produced a novel compound that has completed a phase 1 clinical trial. Other drugs in clinical trials will also be discussed, specifically those for solid tumors, Crohn's disease and hair growth.
