Lisa Sauermann is a professor at the Mathematics Institute of the University of Bonn. She is a laureate of the Cours Peccot International for the year 2024-2025.

Lisa Sauermann is a mathematics professor at the University of Bonn, working in extremal and probabilistic combinatorics. She completed her PhD in 2019 at Stanford University under the supervision of Jacob Fox, and then spent time as a post-doc at Stanford University and the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) in Princeton. After two years as an Assistant Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), she joined the University of Bonn in 2023. She has been awarded the Richard-Rado Prize in 2020, the European Prize in Combinatorics in 2021, the von Kaven Award in 2023, and has been selected to give one of the Gauß Lectures of the German Mathematical Society in 2024.
