Abstract

Healthcare is caught up in a technological hurricane at the crossroads of the exabytes of data produced every day and a new community deal linked to the reduction of barriers to entry into knowledge due to its ubiquitous availability on the web. Open Science dynamics make it possible to exploit OpenSource tools for sharing and deepening knowledge, whether in terms of advanced statistical techniques, from which Artificial Intelligence algorithms derive, or modules for disseminating, organizing and visualizing knowledge. They also make it possible to articulate them with the tremendous opportunities for expressing collective intelligence via the web and connected objects. We will illustrate this with a number of examples, including echOpen and epidemium.
