Seyfettin Gürsel
Professor of economics and director of the Center for Economic and Social Research at Bahçeşehir University, Istanbul. A specialist in the economic history of the Ottoman Empire and Turkey, his research focuses in particular on political economy, labor economics and electoral systems in Turkey. He is the author of L'Empire ottoman face au capitalisme (Paris, L'Harmattan, 1987), Lechômage et l'emploi en Turquie (in Turkish) (Istanbul, Yapı Kredi, 1999) and La critique du "partenariat privilégié" dans l'engrenage Turquie-Union européenne (in Turkish) (Istanbul, Hoşgörü, 2010).
