Patrick Simon, Socio-demographer, INED Research Director, assigned to the International Migrations and Minorities Unit of the Institut National d'Etudes Démographiques. He directed the first large-scale survey of population diversity in France, published by Editions de l'INED. Other publications include "Muslims' political and civic incorporation in France and Canada: testing models of participation", Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies.
