Abstract
Climate change poses immense challenges for ethical, economic and political analysis. We know the scale of the action required and the areas in which we need to act: energy efficiency, low-carbon technologies, deforestation. We have an idea of the technologies to be developed. We understand the basic economic policies that encourage the reduction of emissions, the halting of deforestation and the promotion of a more rational use of our natural environment and its resources. The challenge now is to instill the political will to make all these changes.
