Abstract

Taking as her starting point the major developments in health cooperation over the last twenty years, Dominique Kerouedan looks at how transformations in global governance in the health field are responding to local realities. Drawing on history, the sociology of international relations and the philosophy of globalization, she brings the issues of political will, relevance, efficiency and equity to the forefront of international public health.
