José Burucua
PH.D. on History of Art at the Buenos Aires University in 1985. In the same institution he has been full professor of Modern History since 1986 until 2004. From 2004 until 2016 he was full professor of Problems of Cultural History at the National University of San Martín (UNSAM), where he has been director of the Master Program of Art History since 2004 until 2008. He has been directeur d’études at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales in Paris (1999, 2000, 2005), at the Collège de France (2008), Winter Visiting Scholar at the Getty Research Institute in 2006, Fellow at the Institut d’études avancées de Nantes in 2015-2016. He is a member of the National Academy of History in Buenos Aires.
