Maria Gomez-Mingot holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Alicante (Spain, 2013), where she worked at the Institute of Electrochemistry under the supervision of Profs. V. Montiel and J. Iniesta in the field of bioelectrochemistry. In 2013, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the nanoelectrochemistry group with Dr. J. Ghilane at the Laboratoire interfaces traitements organisation et dynamique des systèmes (ITODYS) at Université Paris-Diderot. In 2014, she did a second postdoctoral internship in Prof. Fontecave's Chemistry of Biological Processes Laboratory (LCPB) at the Collège de France, where she subsequently obtained a research engineer position. She was able to develop several electrochemistry projects at the interface between chemistry, materials and biology. As a specialist in electrochemistry within the laboratory, she is in charge of leading and coordinating experimental activities related to electrochemistry and photoelectrochemistry. In particular, she is interested in the study of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts for energy storage applications linked to hydrogen production, water oxidation andCO2 reduction.
