His research focuses on the constitution of local pantheons and the functions of superhuman entities within these structures. As part of his thesis, he is studying cult transfers between metropolis(es) and colony(ies) through two case studies : Paros and its colony Thasos in the northern Aegean, and Miletus and its settlements in Propontides and the Black Sea. In parallel with his thesis project, he is involved in the Collection of Greek Ritual Norms (CGRN) project and contributes to the annual publication of the journal Kernos.
