Bruno Faivre

After studying biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of Nice-Sophia-Antipolis, Bruno Faivre continued his studies at the University of Lille-I, completing a professional 2 master's degree in cellular and molecular engineering. Over a period of fifteen years, he has held positions as design engineer in a number of research laboratories, including the Institut de biochimie et biophysique moléculaire et cellulaire in Orsay, the Laboratoire d'enzymologie et biochimie structurale in Gif-sur-Yvette, and the Institut Curie in Paris. His positions in various teams have enabled him to acquire and develop genuine technical expertise in molecular biology, protein biochemistry and crystallogenesis, as well as management and training responsibilities. In 2019, he will be appointed to the Chemistry of Biological Processes Chair at the Collège de France, where he will be involved in a number of the team's projects.
