As part of the Laboratoire d'anthropologie sociale seminar " Anthropologie du visuel : pratiques filmiques et anthropologiques " by Corinne Fortier (anthropologist and film-maker, CNRS-LAS), a screening of the film Salomé, le second souffle by Maï Le Dû (2021, 53 minutes) will take place on May 23 2023 at 15 h 30, in the 2 room at the Collège de France.
At the age of 25 , Salomé, who has suffered from cystic fibrosis since childhood, has learned to live with the disease. Then her condition suddenly deteriorated. An almost miraculous lung transplant saved her life. A new life opened up for her, with a new body to tame. This film is a human adventure. Salomé has chosen to take us by the hand and embark us on her life adventure, without even knowing the outcome. " Show the truth " was her mantra during these incredible years of filming.
