In his lecture "The influence of language and symbols on perception and cognition", Experimental Cognitive Psychology Professor Stanislas Dehaene addresses the classic question of the relationship between language and thought.
He will bring together data from ethology, psychology and cognitive anthropology, as well as brain imaging, to dissect the different levels of perception and cognition on which the language we speak and the words we use may (or may not) have an influence.
