Every two years, the University of Tokyo (Todai) organizes a presentation of its research and teaching activities in a different country, under the name of "Todai Forum", to encourage international collaboration and the mobility of professors and students. The event is organized in close partnership with the most prestigious research and higher education institutions in the host country. Each year, it focuses on a specific theme.
In 2011, the Todai Forum will be held in France from September 28 to October 26 under the title "At the frontiers of knowledge", and will consist of a series of symposia, exhibitions and other events. The inaugural symposium is scheduled for October 17 at the Collège de France in Paris. It is open to all, subject to availability.
