In 1921, Rabindranath Tagore, winner of the 1913 Nobel Prize for #literature, welcomed Professor Sylvain Lévi, who had held the Chair of Sanskrit Language and Literature at the Collège de France since 1894, to the Bengal University of Vishva Bharati.
