Collège de France takes part in informal meeting of European ministers for higher education, research and innovation

As part of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Collège de France will contribute to the work of the informal meeting of European Ministers for Higher Education, Research and Innovation, to be held in Paris on January 25. The meeting will be organized around two workshops: "L'Europe des universités: quel avenir?" and "Principes et valeurs de la recherche en Europe et dans le monde".

On this occasion, Prof. Thomas Römer, Administrator of the Collège de France, and Profs Patrick Boucheron, Anne Cheng, François Héran, Stéphane Mallat, Vinciane Pirenne-Delforge and Hugues de Thé will address some 30 ministerial delegations from the European Union and member countries of the European Economic Area, as well as the European Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science, to share their analyses of the current and future challenges facing higher education and research in Europe.
