The Collège de France and ARTE Education have signed an educational and cultural partnership to extend the broadcast of " research in the making " on the ARTE Campus platform.

More than thirty lectures from the Collège de France are already featured on ARTE Campus. Among the researchers whose talks are broadcast on the platform are : Françoise Combes, Patrick Boucheron, Pierre Rosanvallon, Samantha Besson and Michelle Perrot... This offering will be progressively expanded.

All the disciplines encouraged by the Collège de France are represented, from Artistic creation to history and the sciences of the universe, through selected lectures put into perspective for ARTE Campus subscribers. This content is accessible to the hundred or so ARTE Campus subscribers in France, and in French-speaking institutions worldwide.

To inaugurate this partnership, Professor Françoise Combes, astrophysicist and holder of the Galaxies and Cosmology chair, will host a masterclass on Wednesday, April 5 2023 at 5 pm . The masterclass will be held online from the Collège de France, to enable as many students as possible to take part, whatever their geographical location.

This partnership will also raise the profile of the institution and encourage students from all over France to visit the Collège de France, whose lectures, seminars and colloquia are open to all and free of charge.

With this partnership, the Collège de France, which contributes as much to the development of science as to its dissemination to the general public, continues to invest in the promotion and teaching of research. For its part, ARTE Education is pursuing the development of ARTE Campus as a reference resource to encourage young people's cultural openness on all subjects.
