The Collège de France extends its congratulations to Alessio Figalli and Peter Scholze, winners of the 2018 Fields Medal and holders of the Collège de France's Peccot lecture and Peccot-Vimont prize in 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 respectively.
Since 1885, the Claude-Antoine Peccot Foundation has awarded annual prizes to young mathematicians under the age of 30 who have distinguished themselves in theoretical or applied mathematics.
Caucher Birkar and Akshay Venkatesh are also winners of the 2018 Fields Medal.
