On November23 and 24, the Collège de France will be hosting the 22ndCité de la réussite, in conjunction with the Sorbonne.
Launched in 1989, every two yearsthe Cité de la réussite brings together leading figures from the academic, scientific, political, business and media worlds for two days of debate and exchange of ideas on a chosen theme. Its primary aim is to bring together decision-makers and new generations to discuss major contemporary issues. Participation is open to all. At the last event in 2022, twenty-five thousand people attended the debates.
On November 23 and 24 , 2024, the central theme of the Cité de la réussite meetings will be trust. For this occasion, and on the initiative of the Avenir Commun Durable project , the Collège de France is joining forces with the Cité de la réussite to host some of the sixty debates and two hundred speakers in the Marguerite de Navarre and Guillaume Budé amphitheatres. The Collège de France will be at the heart of the discussions, thanks to the participation of eleven of its honorary or active professors, as well as three professors or former professors holding annual chairs.
With the participation of statutory professors Samantha Besson, Patrick Boucheron, Françoise Combes, Antoine Compagnon, Alain Fischer, Marc Fontecave, Pierre-Louis Lions, Dario Mantovani, Pierre-Michel Menger, Lluis Quintana-Murci, Pierre Rosanvallon, and annual professors Chris Bowler, Yves Bréchet and François-Marie Bréon.
