Abstract

In the first two centuries, the distinction between " Christians " and " Jews " was not entirely clear. Many " Christians " were also " Jews " and vice versa. How did they become two separate religious communities ? Is faith in Jesus Christ something totally new, or are there analogies in the Jewish faith ? What does faith in one God mean for Christian-Jewish relations today ? These questions will be addressed in the presentation.
