I am a theoretical ecologist working on microbial communities. After a PhD on niche construction in ant-aphid interactions at iEES Paris, I moved to the University of Lausanne, Switzerland for a first postdoc in Sara Mitri’s lab, where I worked on the modeling of microbial interactions in the context of bioremediation. In the « Evolutionary epidemiology of infectious diseases » team, I combine several approaches to investigate the ecology and evolution of commensal bacteria. I use data-driven analyses, theoretical tools such as Adaptive Dynamics, or individual-based-modeling to study the ecology and evolution of virulence of commensal E. coli. I am funded by the EvoComBac ERC project led by François Blanquart.
