Jonathan Culler
Jonathan Culler est professeur émérite d’anglais et de littérature comparée à l’université de Cornell et membre de l’American Academy of Arts and Sciences, de l’American Philosophical Society et de la British Academy. Après son premier livre, Flaubert : The Uses of Uncertainty, ses recherches portent surtout sur la théorie littéraire. Parmi ses livres : Structuralist Poetics, On Deconstruction, et Literary Theory : A Very Short Introduction. Sa Théorie littéraire et son Roland Barthes ont paru en français. Son livre le plus récent est Theory of the Lyric.
