The Global Torelli Theorem for Cubic Fourfolds via the Jacobi Ring and the Derived Global Torelli Theorem for K3 Surfaces

I will report on an approach to the GT for cubic fourfolds that uses the relation beween Kuznetsov's K3 category associated with any cubic fourfold and K3 surfaces.
